6th Class 2012/2013

Class Teachers:   Ms. Lanigan and Mr. Murray

Some memories of 6th class from Ms. Lanigan's class.

Here are some of our fondest memories of our time in Clonburris!!
"The best memory of Clonburris was in 2012 . when we went to the bog in 5th class. Everybody nearly had a close to death encounter with the bog. Luke Tierney nearly sunk to the bottom. He was freezing and couldn’t get out so ms.Lanigan , Samuel Rafferty, Alex O’neill and Dara Omara had to get him out with a giant wooden board"  (Jack B and Ben)
"OnE DAY WE WERE IN A SEMI-FINAL FOOTBALL MATCH FOR MR MACS SENIOR TEAM. WE WON THE MATCH AND GOT TOLD WE WOULD BE PLAYINg IN CROKE PARK. WE ALL RAN AROUND THE PITCH WITH DELIGHT. THE NEXT FEW DAYS WENT BY AND I JUMPED OFf A WALL AND TURNED AND DISLOCATED MY ELBOW. WHEN THE DAY CAME WE TRAVELLED TO CROKE PARK AND GOT READY TO PLAY THE MATCH AND I STOOD ON THE SIDELINE OF THE FOOTBALL PITCH WE LOST THE MATCH BUT MR MAC WAS DELIGHTED WITH US" (ALEX O'N)
"I have many memories of Clonburris. One of them is from the Christmas concert. Mr Mac decided to put me as the lead role as Goldilocks. It was amazing and I got to show my talent to the school and the audience. Even now, Mr Mac still calls me Goldie.
I will really miss the wonderful school, Clonburris. I will miss all the teachers, staff and people in the school. (Daniela)
